Forgiveness-Who do we need to forgive? An ex-lover, our current lover, our parents, a boss, a school, a cop, the government, an institution, maybe, or any other of the long list of people, places and things that have hurt us. This is all true and we mostly need to forgive ourselves. It does not matter what has happened to us or who did it; what really matters is what we take away from experiences. When we carry resentment in any form it is a chain to that past event and we tend to re-live this event until we forgive our self for what happened. Then one needs to forgive God or the Universe for allowing that to happen to us. Finally we need to forgive the other and then we are free to live life in the present moment. One does not need to like what happened or the person who wronged us. One does need to love the humanness of what happened and compassionately let go. This does not mean we need to embrace the person or situation in their current state but that we embrace the love that is underneath. To love and forgive ourselves we could decide never to put our self in that situation or with that person again. This is not done with animosity but with self Love. It would be arrogant to just tell someone to forgive and just move on if they have endured any major trauma such as a divorce, rape or war. And to start the process of forgiveness is liberating even if it takes a life time to move through.
Faith-The faith we foster in Human Anonymous is the belief that all that happens to us, weather we label it good or bad, is an instance moving us towards our highest good. We are not talking about a faith in blindly believing any dogma, religion or ritualistic practice. If these work for you at this time then by all means follow your heart! We all need to find a practice that works for us. The deeper faith we are talking about is a belief in our own evolution. It’s a heartfelt knowing that our higher self, Soul, and Creator are always giving us what we need to evolve beyond this realm of gravity. This is not always pleasant and we can choose either to move beyond the situation or face it again later. With this understanding we no longer need to beat our selves up! God will always LOVINGLY give us the next opportunity for growth. She/He is patient. Beating our self up only prolongs the process. We can be sure in the “good and bad” that God is only calling us to be a little more. In this faith is serenity.
Perception-We are only what we believe we are. We feel only what we believe we can feel. We think only what we believe we can think. One’s world is a relative reality. We are the ones that limit that reality! The moment one changes their perception of what is and what is possible their world expands forever. Perception is not just what one thinks. It is how one’s whole being takes in the experience of life. It is how one’s energy fields react to life and how they feel about life. It is the whole of our being telling us what is. There has been a lot of talk about the “LAW OF ATTRACTION” lately. Most of this focuses on what one thinks, which is good and it is not the whole picture. If one changes their thought process, growth will happen and it will still be limited to how we feel about things and what our energy fields are telling the universe we need. When one wants the universe to bless them with something in life, ones whole being must be in alignment with the request to fully receive that blessing. If one asks the universe for love and thinks they are worthy of love that will bring love. And if they still harbor low self esteem or their energy fields are closed to that love those will factor in what one gets. Transformation is a Being wide affair! As ones perceptions are shedded they are freer to respond to life rather than react. Ultimately one moves to having no perceptions in life and this is scary because then who are we? We are nothing but Love! Love beyond responsibility. Love beyond life.
